Ladies and Gentlemen, Republicans and Democrats, it’s time to call our leaders to make good on their promises to an energy dependent future. Jon Stewart (no matter how you feel about him) provides an excellent 8 minute video showing how the last 8 presidents have promised to move America to a place where we as a nation are energy-responsible and energy-dependent. The last 8 presidents (5 republicans/3 democrats) have not made good on their promises to bring us to a place where oil spills like the BP Gulf Fiasco are a thing of the past. This is not a democrat/republican problem. This is a problem of the people growing complacent, ignorant, and apathetic to the issue. We are satisfied with empty words, not action.
